2025-2026 Annual Report
Welcome to Neskowin Chamber Music. We are happy to bring you another season of wonderful chamber music on the beautiful Oregon coast. We are presenting a diverse group of performers.
This established Chamber Music series is generously funded by individuals who value high quality music in their community. Each concert ticket represents a minimal contribution to the overall expenses of every concert, which costs approximately $10,000 for each performance. Without these donations from generous Oregonians who sponsor levels of support, this series would not exist. Not only are you, our patrons, enriched by enjoying these world class musicians, but our local school children benefit as well. Each musical group spends time at a local coastal school to energize and communicate the value of music. Neskowin Chamber Music is a 501(c)3 Donations are tax deductible.
We hope you will enjoy this season as much as we enjoy bringing it to you. Please tell your friends about this wonderful opportunity to hear great music.

A Note from Jessica Tong, Our Artistic Director
It was more than fifteen years ago that I first encountered Neskowin Chamber Music as a member of the Vinca Quartet. From the breathtaking beauty of the Oregon coast to the extraordinary warmth of the community that welcomed us, the experience left an indelible impression on me. In the years since, I have had the opportunity to travel the world as a performer, educator, curator and arts advocate. Yet through all those experiences, the radiance, intimacy, and charm of the Oregon coast have continued to occupy a special place in my heart. To be able to return last year for Neskowin Chamber Music's 30th anniversary celebration felt wonderfully serendipitous. To then be invited by the Board of Directors to serve as the organization's next Artistic Director is an even greater honour. I consider it both a privilege and responsibility to continue the impactful work of Frances Madachy, whose artistic leadership has helped shape the series for many years. As I step into this role, I look forward to honouring Neskowin Chamber Music's rich legacy while building upon it—championing artistic excellence and inventiveness, fostering meaningful collaborations, and deepening connections within the community through the shared experience of chamber music. I am thrilled to serve as a cultural steward for Neskowin, to ensure that this exceptional series continues to inspire audiences and artists alike for many years to come.

A Note to Fran, our retired Artistic Director

Fran, for more than 25 years you’ve been the heart of Neskowin Chamber Music. Season after season, you’ve poured your passion, your ear, and your artistic vision into this organization, and it shows in every concert we’ve shared with our community. We wouldn’t be who we are today without your steady leadership and love for the music.
We’re going to do our very best to carry forward what you built. And in appreciation for everything you’ve given—to us, to our musicians, and to the music‑loving community—we’re dedicating our 31st season to you.
We’re excited for whatever comes next in your life, and we hope we’ll keep seeing you in the audience, enjoying the music you helped shape.
Thank you, Fran. Truly.
